In Blender there is a variety of ways to select different parts of a mesh. However, it’s not always clear how we can combine these to make a more advanced selection. In this tutorial we will start by looking at some of the basic stuff. Then we will dive just a slight bit further and learn how we can combine some of these tools to make quite advanced selections in a short amount of time instead of manually selecting with just a single basic tool at a time.
We will be talking about how we can select multiple edge rings and edge loop or for instance every second edge loop on a cylinder. Also, some tips about what to avoid or be careful about when selecting in a path.
I think these tools and techniques can help you even if you know the basics already. Some tools are just many times better in combination with each other rather than as separate tools. Hope you will find some new knowledge.
